“Ba’asarah ma’amaros nivra haolam -- The world was created with ten utterances … .”

The Akeidas Yitzchok offers an interesting parable to describe the uniqueness of a world created with ten ma’amoros. He compares it to a harp that has ten strings. Even if one string of the harp is missing or damaged, the harp can still produce beautiful music.

Similarly, the world was created with ten ma’amoros. Even if the wicked people have done grievous damage, the tzaddikim will compensate and the world will continue to exist.
